Great West Contractors is dedicated to providing a safe, productive environment for employees and customers. To date our safety record is flawless for work related injuries. We have a formal safety policy in place and a copy of the policy may be found in the office as well as in any of the said Great West Contractors job trailers at a project site.
Great West Contractors employs a zero tolerance goal for injuries. “Horseplay” and disregard for caution are not tolerated and will result in relieving an employee from their duties. Employee safety and customer confidence are our primary concern. Weekly “toolbox” talks are documented by project managers, and each project is started with a safety meeting.
The safety policy established by Great West Contractors is incorporated into daily activities on each project. We implement a combination of customer safety and loss prevention requirements, OSHA guidelines, and Great West Contractors standards to provide the safest, healthiest environment possible for our employees.
All subcontractors are required to comply with relevant portions of the safety plan while contracted by Great West Contractors. A copy of the Great West Contractors formal Safety Program is available upon request.
